With utmost sincerity from our hearts and souls, we offer a chance to all who desire to indulge in an authentic African menu.
Our goal is to provide neighbors, friends, family, and foodies with a unique opportunity to not only eat well, but also to deeply connect with African roots through dishes prepared with love, using locally sourced ingredients.
Kemi Tijaniqudus is an influential entrepreneur who has significantly impacted the Bay Area’s Afro-music and culinary scenes. Starting her career as a promoter in 2006, she played a pivotal role in bringing African music to the forefront, working with Afrobeats stars like Tuface and Psquare and even co-managing artists like Nneka. Her dedication went beyond event planning—she distributed CDs and flyers to local DJs to ensure the music reached a wider audience.
This passion extended into the culinary world when she founded Jollof Kitchen in 2012. Known for its authentic Nigerian dishes, Jollof Kitchen has catered to numerous events, served celebrities such as Tiwa Savage and Wizkid, and twice won the Jollof Festival, establishing itself as a beloved fixture in the Bay Area.
Although she has never owned a restaurant, her commitment to preserving Nigerian culinary traditions has transformed Jollof Kitchen into more than just a business—it’s a cultural experience. Media outlets like KQED News have also recognized Kemi’s efforts, further solidifying her impact.
Beyond her ventures, she serves as the Bay Area Festival Director for African Restaurant Week, where she continues to promote African cuisine and culture, enriching the community with her legacy of flavor, culture, and community engagement.
